I strive to be a person who breathes new life and fresh ideas into the space, practicing persistence to achieve my students’ goals. I believe in individualized instruction so that the outcomes of our lessons suit your dreams and aspirations.
As a performance artist, I’ve worked in the regional theatre as both an actor and director, working under and studying voice and performance with professionals with credits on Broadway, national tours, and even the Metropolitan Opera.
With my undergraduate degree in General Theatre Studies and Music from Appalachian State University, my coursework in performance education, teaching artistry, and directing along with my professional experience equip me to not only help you grow in your goals as a performer, but also to connect your learning to the real world experiences that have made me a successful professional singer.

What You'll Learn
Are you interested in performing? At my voice and acting studio, I teach intermediate and beginning students musical theatre and pop/rock voice, piano, and music theory. Students learn techniques to strengthen their singing voice and apply them to their favorite songs, integrating performance skills to nail their next theatre audition, open mic, or karaoke night. They will gain confidence, manage stage fright, and develop a stronger stage presence, becoming more active in their local music and arts communities.
My aim is to make performing sustainable and engaging by emphasizing a strong technical foundation and guiding students towards advanced levels. I strive to get kids excited about performing, fostering a lifelong engagement with the arts. Using positive reinforcement, I address goals and areas of growth, ensuring students feel confident and supported. By setting and achieving goals, students see tangible progress and apply these achievements beyond lessons.
I encourage a focus on growth, emphasizing the importance of loving the learning process and valuing progress over perfection. Drawing from my own experiences as an active performer, I provide real-world insights to guide students, inspiring a passion for the arts and continuous improvement.
